Supervised Rapid Antigen Test (RAT)
What is a supervised Rapid Antigen Test (RAT)?
A supervised RAT is performed by a doctor or nurse. Following the test, you will receive a certificate confirming:
- The test took place at a certain time and date
- The result of that test
- Relevant identification details sighted on the day
Who needs a supervised Rapid Antigen Test (RAT)?
Some countries require travellers to provide a supervised RAT certificate at the time of entry. It is the responsibility of the traveller to have correct documentation for their visit. For more information visit www.smartraveller.gov.au.
For domestic travel, please check with the airline if this is required before your travel.
Can I bring my own Rapid Antigen Test (RAT)?
Yes, you can bring your own test. Alternatively, you can purchase a RAT for $20 at the centre.
Services Fees:
$75 Monday to Friday and $80 on Weekends. An additional $20 fee for the RAT applies (if you don’t bring your own test). NB no Medicare rebate is applicable.
