BILLING POLICY:

 

My Medical & Dental Centre Springfield

As of 1^st of January 2022, the centre will move to mixed billing. The following applies: 

• Patients under 16 years will be bulk billed Monday – Friday.
• Concession, DVA card holders & existing patients will be bulk billed by specific Doctors only* Monday – Friday.  Private billing at a reduced rate applies otherwise.
• All other patients will be private billed as per below Monday – Friday:

All Saturday appointments will incur a private fee of $80 for a standard consult (Medicare rebate of $39.10).

All public holidays will incur a private fee of $90* for a standard consult (Medicare rebate of $51). *Public holiday appointments with Dr Vosotros will incur a private fee of $70 for a standard consult (Medicare rebate of $31). 

If you need to cancel or change an appointment a minimum of 2 hours is required.

We reserve the right to charge a fee for missed appointments and late cancellations.

All dental services will be charged a fee and are not BULK BILLED with the exception of DVA Gold Card Holders and patients who are eligible for the Child Dental Benefit Scheme.

All dental services on a public holiday will be charged a 10% surcharge.

Minor surgical procedures with Dr Shashank Desai are BULK BILLED for aged pension card and DVA patients only.

Spot skin checks are BULK BILLED Monday Friday only.

Consultations regarding COVID-19 vaccinations will be BULK BILLED.

Request of a patient summary will incur a fee of $35 plus $1 per page for reports.

 

My Medical & Dental Centre Hamilton

At My Medical & Dental Centre Hamilton, we are a mixed billing practice and the cost of a consultation will vary according to the time taken and the complexity of the consultation.

BULK BILLING applies for only the following patients:

• patients under 16 years patients
• patients 50 years and above
• patients with a DVA card
• patients with an aged pension card.

A private fee of $75 applies to patients aged 16 – 49 years for a standard consultation.

Extended hours and weekend fees differ to our weekday fees as they are after hours.

Please call our reception staff if you have any queries regarding our fees for the numerous services we offer.

All fees must be paid on the day and for your convenience we provide EFTPOS and credit card facilities. Medicare rebates can be automatically processed at the time of payment and if you are registered with Medicare, your rebate will be transferred into your bank account within 48 hours.

If you need to cancel or change an appointment a minimum of 3 hours is required.
