Veneers are outer shells applied to a patients existing tooth/teeth to help achieve a more aesthetically pleasing look to the tooth/teeth. Veneers are suitable to different cosmetic goals such as a chipped tooth or teeth, broken tooth, discoloured tooth or teeth that need some re-shaping in order to achieve that celebrity perfect smile.

Q. How long do veneers last?
A. Most veneers come with a 10 year warranty. However, being ceramic they are prone to fracture or dislodgement on impact. It is important to have a regular check up with your dentist.
Q. Are teeth veneers expensive?
A. Porcelain veneers cost more because of the materials. At My Medical & Dental Centre we offer payment plans via Afterpay and Humm. We also have an option for composite vaneers which are more cost effective. Check with your dentist for your dental needs.

A. On impact veneers can fall off or fracture. Over an extended period of time (10-15 years) veneers may need to be replaced.

A. Yes, they should be treated like your own teeth and care taken avoid drinking too much coffee, cola and smoking.
