Rory Dowdall – Optometrist
Optometrist BSc., BVisSci, MOptom Rory originally graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Science in 2012 and commenced working as a Sleep Scientist prior to his admission into the School of Optometry at QUT in 2014. He graduated with distinction for both the Bachelor of Vision Science & Masters in Optometry, was the President of the Optometry Student Society in QLD, and a student member of the Optometry Board of QLD and NT in 2018. His interests within Optometry include Paediatric Optometry, Myopia Control and the management and treatment of Dry Eye Disease. Rory is also part of the Paediatric Optometry Alignment Program from Children’s Hospital Queensland (Lady Cilento Hospital), and is currently part of the Cornea & Contact Lens Society of Australia’s QLD Committee.

Sarah Tang – Podiatrist
Sarah graduated with a bachelor of podiatry degree from the University of Newcastle in 2015 and has been working as a podiatrist in private clinics and aged care industry since then. She is interested in all aspect of podiatry and has experience in general foot care, diabetic foot assessment, wound care and nail surgery.
She was originally from China and completed a medical degree before she moved overseas. She has also completed a post-graduate degree in genetics in Japan. Sarah is fluent in English, Chinese and Japanese.
Kiah Paetz – Dietitian/Founder of Plant Nutrition and Wellness
Kiah Paetz is our Hamilton Practice Dietitian. Kiah graduated from the Queensland University of Technology with Honours and is a member of the Dietitians Association of Australia. She is passionate about improving patient health outcomes, prevention of chronic disease and educating patients in health and nutrition. All medicare and DVA claimable consultations with Kiah will be bulk billed through Medicare meaning no out of pocket expenses for her patients.
Georgia D’Andrea – Dietitian
Georgia is an accredited Practising Dietitian based at our Springfield Orion centre. She graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelors in Exercise and Nutrition Science and a Masters in Dietetics.
Georgia’s passion for nutrition stemmed from a love of cooking paired with a fascination of the strong links between food and its effects on human health and happiness.
As a vegan, she is passionate about plant-based nutrition and vegan/vegetarian diets. Whilst it is never her goal to make anyone adopt a vegan diet, she aims to encourage and inspire her clients to reach their health goals and optimise their wellbeing through a plant focused diet.
Her other main areas of interest include helping clients to optimise their diet preparing for pregnancy and meeting their nutrient needs during pregnancy. She also enjoys practising in the areas of gut health and chronic disease prevention and management. Georgia can help you in the following areas:

Georgia will be at the clinic on Thursdays and also offers online consultations.
Joanna Szczodry (Stevenson)
Joanna has more than 10 years of experience as a physiotherapist and she treated patients across Poland, Canada, and finally in Australia. She has worked with a variety of patients in a hospital, aged care sector, and private practice. Joanna has a special interest in migraines, headaches and neurological conditions. She completed a level 2 Watson Headache Approach, which gives her specialised tools to adequately and precisely identify cervicogenic headaches and has a high success rate in managing migraines and headaches.
Joanna’s skills are targeted in return to function, pain relief, and injury prevention. Her holistic approach, with evidence-based practice, gives her the best chance to guide her patients through their health journey
